Powertrain Control Module: Service and Repair
Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Initialization

1. Install new PCM. 
2. Using NGS Tester, perform Security Access Procedure.  
3. Select PARAMETER RESET.

NOTE:  Selecting PARAMETER RESET causes PCM ID PID to change from STORED to not STORED.

4. After process has been completed, Key OFF.
5. Disconnect NGS Tester.

NOTE:  Once initialized, the THEFT indicator should prove-out for three seconds and the vehicle will start.

6. To initialize, PCM/PATS, cycle ignition key from OFF to ON three times, each time leaving in ON for three seconds.
