Intake Air Temperature Sensor: Service and Repair
Mass Air Flow/Intake Air Temperature (MAF/IAT) Sensor

CAUTION:  Sensing elements located in the air flow bypass are not to be tampered with. 

1. Disconnect negative battery cable. 
2. Disconnect the connector. 
3. Remove the engine air outlet tube. See AIR CLEANER OUTLET PIPE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. 

4. Remove the four bolts. 
5. Remove the MAF sensor. 
6. Install in reverse order of removal. 

Tightening torque 
4 - 5 N.m {41 - 51 kgf.cm, 38 - 44 in.lbf}
