Temperature Sensor (Gauge): Service and Repair
WATER TEMPERATURE SENDER UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Remove the radiator cap.
2. Disconnect the water temperature sender wire.
3. Remove the water temperature sender unit.
4. Apply sealant to the threads of the new water temperature sender unit.
5. Install in reverse order of removal.
Tightening torque: 11 - 24 Nm (1.1 - 2.4 kgf.m, 8 - 18 ft. lbs.)
