7. Remove the spider.

1. Reposition the propeller shaft in Anoint Tool SST 205-086 (T74P-635-C) or equivalent.
2. Press out the bearing cup.
3. Rotate the propeller shaft.
4. Press on the spider to remove the remaining bearing cup.
5. Remove the spider.

8. Clean the yoke area at the end of the propeller shaft.

Assembly Note 

1. Install the spider.

1. Start a new bearing cup into the propeller shaft yoke.
2. Position the new spider in the propeller shaft yoke.
3. Position the propeller shaft in U-Joint Tool SST 205-086 (T74P-4635-C) or equivalent.
4. Press the bearing cup to just below the snap ring groove.
5. Repeat for the other bearing cup.

2. Install the propeller shaft flange yoke.

1. Start a new bearing cup into the propeller shaft flange yoke.
2. Position the propeller shaft flange yoke.
3. Position the propeller shaft in U joint Tool SST 205-086 (T74P-4635-C) or equivalent.
4. Press the bearing cup to just below the snap ring groove.
5. Repeat for the other bearing cup.

Note  Use the yellow snap rings supplied to assemble the universal joint. If difficulty is encountered with yellow snap rings, install the black
snap rings.
