DESCRIPTION
A new long life engine coolant, yellow colored Premium Gold Engine Coolant is being introduced into 2002 Tribute and Trucks staring in June of 2002.
The initial coolant replacement interval from the factory is 60 months/100,000 miles. The replacement interval changes to 36 months/50,000 miles after
the coolant is serviced or changed due to variations in water quality.
Do not interchange the coolant types on any vehicle. When servicing the cooling system, verify the correct type in the reservoir:

If vehicle came with Green Premium Engine Coolant, use only Green Premium Engine Coolant.

If vehicle came with Premium Gold Engine coolant, use only Premium Gold Engine Coolant.
NOTE
There are special coolant part numbers for Oregon, these coolants have a bittering agent added to comply with local laws.
