This bulletin supersedes the previous bulletin 08-004/05, issued on 7/08/2005. The APPLICABLE MODEL(S) / VINs has been revised.

DESCRIPTION
Some customers may complain that the safety belt retracts too slowly. A service kit is now available to improve safety belt retraction speed.
Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
Follow the Instruction Sheet included in the kit. Refer to Workshop Manual Section 08-11 for additional information.
NOTE:

If Teflon tape is already present on the safety belt guide ring (d-ring), DO NOT continue with this repair. Refer to Workshop manual section
08-11 for additional diagnosis.

Each kit services two (2) belts.
