4X4 and 4X2:
A.
Remove and replace the old Transmission Insulator/Retainer:
a. Position a jack under the transmission.
b. Remove old Transmission Support/Insulator nuts.
c. Raise and support the transmission.
d. Remove the Transmission Support Insulator/Retainer.
e. Install the new Transmission Support Insulator / Retainer.
f.
Install the fasteners to the Transmission Support Insulator / Retainer.
g. Tighten the fasteners, but do not torque them at this time.
h. Remove the jack.
NOTE:
Leave the fasteners loose. Several fasteners will be left loose to allow for neutralization of the mounts later in this procedure.
17.
Attach the new engine support brackets (left and right).
Tightening Torque: 70 Nm (51 lb-ft)
NOTE:
This step can be performed through the fender well.
18.
Reposition the starter wire harness bracket.
19.
Install the ground wire to the left engine support bracket.
Tightening Torque: 10 Nm (89 lb-in)
20.
Position the oil filter drain funnel.
Tightening Torque: 10 Nm (89 lb-in)
21.
Lower the vehicle.
22.
Lower the engine and remove the three-bar engine support.
23.
Install the engine support bracket nuts to the frame loosely.
24.
Remove the engine lifting eyes.
25.
Install the cooling fan according to Workshop Manual (section 01-12B-8 COOLING FAN AND CLUTCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION).
26.
Install the hood.
Tightening Torque: 12 Nm (9 lb-ft)
