Parking Brake Cable: Service and Repair
Front Cable

REMOVAL / INSTALLATION 

1. Remove the parking brake control.
2. Disconnect the front cable from the parking brake control.

3. Compress the front cable parking brake control clip (1).
4. Remove the front cable (2) from parking brake control.
5. Disconnect front cable from frame mounting bracket.
6. Disconnect front cable from intermediate cable.
7. Remove front cable.
8. Install in reverse order of removal.

NOTE:  Make sure cable is routed through loop on take-up spool.
