1998 B-3000 with A/C and build dates between 5/12/97 to 8/25/97.

DESCRIPTION

The A/C suction hose may rub on the upper radiator hose resulting in either an engine coolant leak and/or an A/C refrigerant leak. Hose protectors are
now available to prevent this occurrence.

Customers complaining of this concern should have their vehicle repaired according to the following procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1.

Verify customer complaint.

2.

Replace effected hose or hoses.

3.

Install the sleeve for the upper radiator hose and position it between the contact surfaces.

4.

Install the sleeve for the A/C suction hose and position it between the contact surfaces.

5.

Secure the sleeve with electrical tape or equivalent.

6.

Verify repair.
