Firestone Tire Recall 
Replacement of Certain Firestone P235/75 R15 Tires

MDCS NOTIFICATION
Since this is a Firestone recall, it will not be possible to determine via a Vehicle Status Inquiry using MDCS if the vehicle is subject to this Firestone
Recall.

PLEASE NOTE

Correct all vehicles in stock before delivery. Federal law requires dealers to complete any outstanding safety recall service before a new vehicle is
delivered to the buyer or lessee. Violation of this requirement by a dealer could result in a civil penalty of up to $1,100 per vehicle.

Mazda Dealers will not be involved in the refund process for this Firestone recall. Customers inquiring about a refund should be referred to a Firestone
Tire Service Center Do not refer customers to Mazda for refund processing.

Firestone Tire Inspection Procedure

NOTE: 

The only tire size affected is a P235/75 R15 - If vehicle does not have this size tire, then NO inspection is necessary and tire is not subject to
Firestone Recall.

OVERVIEW:

A.

Verify tire size and type:

If tire a Firestone P235/75 R15 proceed to Step B.

If tire is any other size tire, then no inspection is necessary; customer is not subject to Firestone Recall.

B.

There are two makes of Firestone Tires subject to this recall, check vehicle for the following:

If tire is a Firestone Wilderness AT P235/75 R15, then proceed to INSPECTION PROCEDURE.

If tire is a Firestone "Radial ATX" P235/75 R15, the customer should be directed to a local Firestone Tire Center for tire replacement.
