Symptom 1: During reprogramming, the screen suddenly returns to the initial screen, then reprogramming stops and cannot continue.

-

Make sure the VCM mark appears on the IDS screen. If it does not appear on the screen, check the DLC connection for poor
connection.

-

Check the battery voltage to see if it is normal. If the battery voltage is low, check the booster cable for poor connection.

-

Confirm the error message on the IDS screen. If you continue the session, the message "Do you wish to retry?" appears. Click "Yes."

-

After reprogramming again, make sure the session has finished without fail.

If the session failed, perform reprogramming another 3-5 times.

^

If the session keeps failing no matter how many times you have tried, delete the session and close it.

-

Open the session which was saved before reprogramming and start another session.

Symptom 2: PC screen freezes while reprogramming.

-

Press the "Start" button in the lower left hand corner to see if the menu screen appears.

If the menu screen appears, the IDS has frozen.

^

If the menu screen does not appears, the PC has frozen.

-

If the IDS has frozen:

1.

Press "Crtl," "Alt," "Delete" keys at the same time to open Windows Task Manager.

2.

Choose End Task to finish IDS.

3.

Reboot the IDS and perform the vehicle identification again, then start another reprogramming session.

If the PC has frozen:

1.

Press "Crtl," "Alt," "Delete" keys at the same time to open Windows Task Manager.

2.

Choose End Task to finish IDS. If there is no response, then press "Esc" several times. If there is still no response, press the
power button for several seconds to shut down the PC.

3.

Reboot the IDS and perform the vehicle identification again, then start another reprogramming session. If the vehicle
identification cannot be performed, open the session that was saved before reprogramming, then start another reprogramming
session.
