3. Connect the six solenoid electrical connectors.

1) Connect shift solenoid electrical connectors.
2) Connect the TCC solenoid electrical connector.
3) Connect the EPC solenoid electrical connector.

CAUTION:  Excessive pressure may break the retaining pins.

4. Install the main control valve body wire loom.

1) Align the retaining pins to the holes in the solenoid clamps and gently press in the main control valve body wire loom guide and protector

5. Install the (1) oil strainer. 

6. Install the (2) bolt.

7. Position a new gasket on the oil pan.

8. Align and install the oil pan.

1) Loosely install the 18 oil pan bolts.

9. Tighten the bolts.

10. Lower the vehicle.
11. Connect the battery ground cable.
12. Fill the transmission to the proper fluid level and check for proper transmission operation.

1) Use Mazda ATF TYPE 5 fluid.
