DESCRIPTION
A "hooting", "eeking", or "moaning" noise may be heard coming from the clutch when shifting into gears, while the engine is running. This may be
caused by resonance from the clutch pressure plate when it becomes 90% engaged. This noise does not affect clutch function or life.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1.
Verify customer concern.
2.
Remove clutch according to Workshop Manual (Section 05-10-1 CLUTCH).
3.
Replace the clutch disc and clutch pressure plate with a new service clutch assembly.
4.
Verify repair.
