Wheel Alignment

WHEEL ALIGNMENT 

Camber and Caster Adjustment

The upper arm-to-frame mounting bolts have set shims that must be replaced with washers (9XGO-50-409Z) to allow for adjustment of the arm in
the frame slot. The vehicle should be supported by the lower arm to ease movement of the upper arm in the slot.

1. Remove the nuts and shims.

Discard the nuts and shims.

2. Install new washers (9XGO-50-409Z) and nuts and snug the nuts.
3. To adjust the caster and camber refer to the chart.

Adjustments that require moving the front and the rear of the upper arm should be made equally.

4. Tighten the nuts.
5. Check and if necessary adjust the front toe.

Toe Adjustment 

1. Start the engine and center the steering wheel.
2. Turn the engine off, and hold the steering wheel in the "straight forward" position by attaching a rigid link from the steering wheel to the brake

pedal.
