Rotate the "slide bar" against the head of the bolt. If the "slide bar" is not against the bolt head, it may be possible for the shoulder of the bolt to
"bottom out" on the "slide bar", which could result in the slide bar" not being in required alignment.

Torque the retaining Torx bolt to 30-40 N.m (22-29 lb.-ft)

Connect the electrical connector on the driver's seat for the seat belt buckle. Move seat all the way forward.

Tighten the two (2) nuts to retain the front "slide bar" which attaches the bracket to the inboard seat track assembly (refer to Fig. 13).

Slowly move the seat forward and rearward while checking for easy movement. If the seat does not move easily, perform the following steps:

Move the seat all the way forward.

Loosen the two (2) nuts and bolts retaining the front "slide bar" bracket to the inboard seat track assembly (refer to Fig. 15). The support
bracket may require adjustment up or down to achieve proper alignment.

Re-tighten the nuts and bolts and re-check the seat for easy movement.

NOTE: 

If the seat does move forward and rearward easily, torque the nuts and bolts to 7.5-10.5 N.m (6-8 lb.-ft).

12.

Using an open end wrench, tighten the nut retaining the front of the "slide bar" to the bracket mounted on the seat track.
