Do Not interchange the right and left side gaskets.
Right Side - P/N ZZM2 10 271, Left Side - ZZM2 10 2H0.

Position the cylinder heads onto the cylinder block using the locating dowels. (see Fig. 2)
8.
Install new cylinder head bolts. Tighten in sequence according to Fig. 4 and torque to specification.
Tightening Torque: 30 Nm (22 ft-lbs)
CAUTION:
The cylinder head and intake manifold are torqued alternately and in sequence. This procedure ensures proper fit and gasket crush. Follow the
procedures below for proper torque of both cylinder head and intake manifold. Failure to follow these procedures will cause return repairs.
9.
Perform steps 2-9 of PROCEDURE "B".
10.
Tighten cylinder head bolts in sequence as shown in Fig. 4.
Tightening Torque: 70 Nm (52 ft-lbs)

Replace the two (2) studs with bolts if the original manifold had bolts or is replaced with the 1995 level manifold.
12.
Tighten intake manifold bolts/nuts in sequence as shown in Fig. 3.
Tightening Torque: 8 Nm (6 ft-lbs)
13.
Tighten all cylinder head bolts 90 degrees in sequence as shown in Fig. 4.
14.
Install the valve push rods and rocker arms according to the workshop manual.
