Intake Manifold Bolts - If the lower intake manifold requires replacement due to damage (see Procedure B), inspect the replacement manifold to
ensure the correct manifold bolts are used. Inspection: Measure the spot face of the intake manifold bolt holes. If the holes are 0.95 in. (24 mm)
in diameter (as shown in Fig. 1), the manifold is a 1995 style manifold and will require eight (8) 1995 level manifold bolts. PAST MODEL
MANIFOLDS AND BOLTS MUST NOT BE MIXED WITH 1995 LEVEL MANIFOLDS AND BOLTS. MIS-MATCHING MAY RESULT
IN FOLLOW-UP REPAIRS.
