B4000 2WD V6-4.0L OHV (1994)
Water Pump: Service and Repair
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Drain cooling system.
3. Remove fan shroud and cooling fan.
4. Remove lower radiator hose and heater return hose.
5. Loose alternator mounting bolts and lift drive belt tensioner in clockwise direction to remove drive belt.
6. On models with A/C, remove alternator and bracket.
7. Remove water pump pulley.
8. Remove pump and gasket. Repair or replace as needed.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
