Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

Disconnect the vapor hoses from the Charcoal Canister.

Remove the screw securing the canister to the bracket or fender apron.

Lift up on the canister to disengage the tab on the back side, then remove the canister from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION

Insert the tab at the back of the canister into the slot on the vehicle.

Align the screw hole and install the screw and torque it to 5.1-8.5 Nm (45-75 lb.in.).

Connect the vapor hoses.
