DESCRIPTION
If the Ignition Control Module (ICM) connector is loose or has moisture trapped inside, the vehicle may experience:
CHECK ENGINE light illumination
Rough Idle

The problem is caused by the retention clip (loosing strength) and the foam gasket (allowing moisture to enter).
To correct this concern, a connector repair kit is available. The kit contains a new connector sleeve retainer clip and a current production silicone gasket.
NOTE:
The retainer clip connects between the ICM and the connector to prevent future accidental disconnection.
If a customer complains of the above symptoms, inspect the vehicle and repair as necessary.
