Transmission Position Switch/Sensor: Testing and Inspection
Service Tips (A/T)

Diagnostic Trouble Code No. 522 is output under the following conditions:
-

If the vehicle is not in park or neutral during diagnostic trouble code check. 

-

If the Park/Neutral Position Switch circuit is open or shorted.
