5. Remove the propeller shaft slip yoke.
(1) Position the propeller shaft slip yoke in U-Joint Tool SST 205-086 (T74P-4635-C) or equivalent.
(2) Press out a bearing cup.
(3) Rotate the propeller shaft slip yoke.
(4) Press on the spider to remove the remaining bearing cup.
(5) Remove the propeller shaft slip yoke.
6. Repeat Step 5 to remove the remaining bearing cups and spider from the propeller shaft.
7. Clean the yoke area at each end of the propeller shaft.
Assembly Note
1. Install the bearing cup.
(1) Start a new bearing cup into the propeller shaft yoke.
(2) Position the new spider in the propeller shaft yoke.
(3) Using U-Joint Tool SST 205-086 (T74P-4635-C) or equivalent, press the bearing cup below the yoke surface.
Note:

Use the yellow snap rings supplied to assemble the universal joint. If difficulty is encountered with yellow snap rings, install the black snap
rings.
2. Remove the propeller shaft from U-Joint Tool SST 205-086 (T74P-4635-C) or equivalent and install the snap ring.
3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 to install the remaining new bearing cups, spider, and propeller shaft yoke.
Note:

Do not strike the bearings.
4. Check universal joints for freedom of movement.
