6.

Inspect the two (2) foam strip seals for proper positing. Refer to the figure shown.

There should not be gaps between the casing and the end of the strips.

Witness marks should be present along the entire length of the seal.

7.

If necessary, stretch and reposition the strips to eliminate any gaps and provide uniform sealing.

NOTE:

Seal placement is critical, they must be placed along the inner upper edge. If the seal strips require stretching, after positioning, immediately
assemble the evaporator case to prevent the seal strips from shrinking back to the original position.

8.

Remove all moisture, install evaporator core and case assembly.

9.

Verify repair.
