Install new tolerance ring and steel sleeve over steering shaft to upper bearing. Refer to Fig. 19.

CAUTION:

Bearing damage will occur if the following procedure is not followed.

Install new spring and new snap ring on top side of spring, using 3/4 inch by 2-1/4 inch PVC pipe, until snap ring is seated in lower snap ring
groove. Refer to Fig. 20.

Install turn signal cancel cam, flush surface "up". Refer to Fig. 21.
