Insert tip of screwdriver into Double-D slot of lock housing bearing, then rotate 90 degrees clockwise. Remove bearing. Refer to Fig. 7.
13.
Remove lock drive gear. Carefully note relationship of lock drive gear to lock housing. Refer to Fig. 8.
14.
Remove two (2) tilt pivot bolts and separate. Remove lock cylinder housing from steering column. Refer to Fig. 9.
CAUTION:
Tilt spring under tension.
