Vacuum Brake Booster: Service and Repair

SELF-CONTAINED

The power brake unit is a self-contained unit. Disassembly and assembly is not required. The only serviceable components are the power brake
unit check valve, adjustable push rod, and the rubber reaction disk.

CAUTION:  The rubber reaction disc can be repositioned if master cylinder push rod is removed or accidentally pulled out. If the disc cannot be
properly installed and aligned, or cannot be located within the power brake unit itself, the power brake unit must be replaced as an assembly.
