2. While holding the Pulley Removal Tool nut stationary with a wrench, rotate the inner spindle of the Pulley Removal Tool clockwise until the
pulley is pulled off the power steering shaft.
NOTE: Inspect all parts and repair or replace as necessary.
INSTALLATION
1. Install in the reverse order of removal, referring to the following:
Oil Pump (3)
Install the oil pump.
Tightening torque: 47 - 64 Nm (35 - 47 ft. lbs.).
Oil Pump Pulley (2)
Install the pulley using Pulley Replacer Tool T65P3A733-C or equivalent.
NOTE: Make sure the pull-off groove on the pulley is facing the front and is flush with the end of the shaft +/-0.254 mm (0.010 inch).
2. After installation:
a. Check the drive belt tension.
b. Check all connections for fluid leakage.
c. Check the fluid level. Add fluid if necessary.
