Wheel Hub (Locking): Service and Repair
Automatic Locking Hubs
REMOVAL
1. Jack up the front of the vehicle and support it with vehicle stands.
2. Remove the wheel and tire assemblies.
3. Remove in the order shown in the illustration, referring to the following notes:
Spacer (3)
1. Remove the snap ring.
2. Remove the axle shaft spacers.
Locking Key (5)

Remove the locking key, using a magnet.
NOTE: Rotate the adjusting nut to relieve pressure from the locking key.
INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal, referring to the following notes:
