Inspect the vertical channel for any dust debris or metal filings. Clean thoroughly. Refer to figure 1.

Apply approximately 8 grams of grease to the vertical channel.

Lower the window to a full open position.

Remove the forward glass run lower attachment bolt. Refer to figure 2.

Note:

Glass run removal does not require door glass removal.

Remove the glass run from the door while the window is in the open position.

9.

Install the new glass run assembly. Refer to figure 3.

a. Carefully install the rigid section of the glass run into the door and align the glass run bracket hole with the hole in the inner door panel.

b. Hand start the previously removed forward glass run lower attachment bolt.

c. Position the new glass run so that the top corner of the rigid section is fully seated in the corner of the "A" pillar and aligned.
