Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair
CRANKSHAFT REAR OIL SEAL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Remove the flywheel.
2. Remove the crankshaft rear oil seal using a punch and Jet Plug Remover SST 310 - 005 (T77L - 9533B) or equivalent.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Installation Note
1. Lubricate the outer lips and the inner seal on the crankshaft rear oil seal.
Note: Rear Crank Seal Replacer SST 49 UN01 152 is part of Rear Crank Seal Replacer Set SST 49 UN01 136.
2. Install oil seal using two flywheel bolts, Rear Crank Seal Replacer SST 49 UN01 136 and Rear Crank Seal Replacer SST 49 UN01 152.
