Front Crankshaft Seal: Service and Repair
CRANKSHAFT FRONT OIL SEAL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Remove the crankshaft pulley.
2. Using Front Cover Seal Remover SST 49 UN01 003, remove the crankshaft front oil seal.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Crankshaft Front Oil Seal Installation Note
1. Lubricate the seal lip with clean engine oil.
2. Install the crankshaft front oil seal using Crankshaft Damper Replacer SST 49 UN01 002 and Front Cover Seal Remover SST 49 UN01 003.
