CAUTION:
You must re-time the left hand and right hand camshafts when either camshaft or the primary chain is replaced.

Remove the primary chain, jackshaft sprocket and crankshaft sprocket. Caution: the jackshaft sprocket bolt is torque to yield and must be
discarded and replaced with the new one from the parts kit.
4.
Clean all surfaces. Clean all debris from the engine.
CAUTION:
When cleaning sealing surfaces, be sure to cover the opening of the oil pan area with clean shop cloths to ensure that no gasket material falls
into the oil pan area. Using clean shop cloths, block all openings that may allow dirt to enter the oil pan.
5.
Remove all shop cloths placed in the engine for cleaning.
6.
Install the New primary chain onto the New jackshaft sprocket.
CAUTION:
The New crankshaft sprocket must be installed with the raised side toward the engine block. Install the New primary chain, the New crankshaft
sprocket, the New jackshaft sprocket and the New jackshaft sprocket bolt.
CAUTION:
Do not tighten the New jackshaft sprocket bolt.
7.
Install New primary chain tensioner. Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
8.
Install New primary chain guide. Tighten the bolts to 19 Nm (14 lb-ft).
9.
Pull the pin releasing the New primary chain tensioner.
