4. Using a suitable puller, remove the flange.

5. Remove the oil seal if it remains on the rear output shaft.

6. Using the special tool, remove the oil seal.
7. Clean the seal mounting area of any foreign material.

8. Using the special tool, install a new oil seal. 
9. Install the oil seal in the flange.

Caution:  Align the index marks.

10. Position the flange on the rear output shaft. If necessary, reseat the oil seal in the flange.
