NOTE:

Use Resin core Mildly Activated (RMA) solder. (Do not use acid core solder).

6.

Reposition the heat shrink tubing over the splice.

7.

Heat the entire length of heat shrink tubing until the sealant comes out of both ends.

NOTE:

Use a heat gun only. Do not use a hair dryer or any flames to heat the shrink tubing.

8.

Secure the wire to the harness.

9.

Leave the sensor installed in the case (if applicable).
