Axle Casing: Service and Repair
Rear
REMOVAL
1. Jack up the rear of the vehicle and support it with safety stands.
2. Remove the wheel and tire assemblies.
3. Drain the differential oil into a suitable container.
4. Remove in the order shown in the illustration, referring to the following notes:
Vent Hose (2)

Unscrew the vent hose from the vent.
Rear Axle Casing (7)
1. Support the rear axle casing using a transmission jack.
2. Remove the brake line from the clip.
