Intake Manifold: Service and Repair
Upper Intake Manifold
UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD REMOVAL / INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.
3. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the cruise control actuator cable.
4. Disconnect the vacuum hoses from the brake vacuum booster, EGR solenoid and crankcase ventilation hose.
5. Disconnect the engine control sensor wiring from the EGR solenoid, the DPFE sensor and the idle air control valve.
6. Disconnect the DPFE sensor hoses.
