Fuel Injector: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.
2. Disconnect the vacuum line.
3. Disconnect the engine control sensor wiring from the:
(1).Idle air control valve valve
(2).DPFE sensor
(3).EGR solenoid
4. Disconnect the vacuum lines from:
(1).EGR solenoid
(2).Upper intake manifold
(3).EGR valve
5. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation tube.
6. Disconnect the DPFE sensor vacuum lines.
7. Disconnect the throttle position sensor.
8. Disconnect the engine control sensor wiring from the radio ignition interference capacitor and the ignition coil.
9. Disconnect the six spark plug wires from the coil pack.
10. Remove the nuts.
11. Remove the fuel line bracket.
12. Remove the upper intake manifold.
