Front Crankshaft Seal: Service and Repair
CRANKSHAFT FRONT OIL SEAL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Remove the crankshaft pulley.
2. Remove the crankshaft front oil seal.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Crankshaft Front Oil Seal Installation Note
1. Lubricate the seal lip with clean engine oil.
2. Install the crankshaft front oil seal using Rear Main Oil Seal Installer Special Service Tool (SST) 49 UN01 064 and Front Cover Seal Remover
(SST) 49 UN01 003
