Air Register: Service and Repair
Plenum Chamber
1. Remove the instrument panel.
2. Drain the radiator.
3. Disconnect the heater hoses from the heater/evaporator core.
4. Remove the heater/evaporator core housing.
5. Remove the nuts.
Tightening torque
3.4 - 4.8 N.m (35 - 49 kg.cm, 31 - 42 in.lb).
6. Remove the plenum chamber.
7. Install in reverse order of removal.
1. Lubricate all hoses and fittings.
LH Instrument Panel Register
1. Remove the LH instrument panel finish panel.
2. Remove the screws.
3. Remove the LH instrument panel register.
4. Install in reverse order of removal.
LH Instrument Panel Register Duct
1. Remove the LH instrument panel register.
2. Remove the two screws and remove the LH instrument panel register duct.
3. Install in reverse order of removal.
