^
The PCM CALIBRATION INFORMATION of this bulletin has been revised.
APPLICABLE MODEL(S)/VINS
All 1999 B-Series.
DESCRIPTION
The PCM (Powertrain Control module) calibration information was not readily provided on some vehicles. Use the procedure below to determine the
base PCM calibration number.
PROCEDURE TO DETERMINE THE BASE PCM CALIBRATION INFORMATION
Using the information, determine the calibration number and reference it to the chart.
^
On vehicles built after 1/18/99, check the certification label on the door jam as shown. The calibration number is printed on the bottom right corner
of the certification label. The calibration will be a 6 digit number located in the section directly to the right of the letters "SPR".
^
On vehicles built through 1/31/99, find the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) "tear" tag located on the passenger side of engine compartment wall
as shown. Cross-reference the tear tag code to find the base calibration using the PCM Information chart.
