Fuel Rail: Service and Repair
REMOVAL NOTE
1. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.
2. Disconnect the vacuum line.
3. Disconnect engine harness wiring from the:
-
Idle air control (IAC) valve.
-
DPFE sensor.
-
EGR vacuum regulator solenoid.
4. Disconnect the vacuum line from:
-
EGR vacuum regulator solenoid.
-
Upper intake manifold.
-
EGR valve.
5. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation tube.
6. Disconnect the DPFE sensor vacuum lines.
7. Disconnect the throttle position (TP) sensor.
8. Disconnect the engine harness from the radio ignition interference capacitor and the ignition coil.
9. Disconnect the six spark plug wires from the coil pack.
10. Remove the nuts.
