Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair
1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Disconnect crankshaft position (CKP) sensor connector.
4. Remove the bolts and CKP sensor.
5. Install in reverse order of removal.
NOTE: On this engine, push sensor against pulley wheel to ensure both wearpads are in contact with pulley wheel. Tighten bolts to specified
torque.
Tightening torque: 8 - 12 Nm { 82 - 122 kg.cm, 71 - 106 in.lb }
