15. Tighten the oil pan bolts.
1) Use a crisscross sequence to tighten the oil pan bolts.
16. Install the servo heat shield (4R44E).
17. Lower the vehicle.
Note: When filling a dry transmission and converter start with a minimum of 3.7 liters (4 quarts).
18. Fill transmission to proper fluid level.
1) Use Mazda ATF TYPE 5 fluid.
