Fuel Filter: Description and Operation
The fuel filter removes particles from the fuel that may be abrasive to moving parts or plug small passages in the carburetor. On vehicles with manual
transmission, the filter is located near the right front fender, under the hood. On vehicles with automatic transmission, the filter is located under the
vehicle near the fuel tank.
