Thermal Vacuum Valve - EVAP: Testing and Inspection
1.
Remove water thermo valve.
2.
Place thermo valve into a container of water.
3.
Place a suitable thermometer into container.
4.
Gradually heat water to 131°F on B2600 models, 115-129°F on 1988 626 & MX-6 models or 129°F on all other models, then blow through
thermo valve hose.
5.
If air flows through the valve at the specified temperature, water thermo valve is operating properly. If not, replace water thermo valve.
