VOLUME CHECK
Checking Fuel Pump Output Volume
1.
Disconnect main fuel line "A" from carburetor and direct end of hose into a graduated cylinder or other suitable measuring container.
2.
Bridge terminals "B" and "D" of fuel pump control unit (B/W and B/R wires) as before, with a jumper wire.
3.
Energize fuel pump (turn ignition "ON") for 60 seconds.
4.
Note volume of fuel pumped into measuring container.
39 oz. (1,150 cc)
If volume pumped is less than specified, check in-line fuel filter and filter screen in tank. Replace as necessary. If filters are OK and volume is low,
replace pump.
