Upper Arm
Fig. 5 Upper Control Arm Assembly
Refer to Fig. 5 for upper control arm and component exploded view. When removing assembly, note the following:
1.
Using tool 490118850C or equivalent, separate upper arm ball joint from knuckle arm.
2.
Remove nuts and bolts attaching upper arm shaft to the support bracket. Remove upper arm shaft. When removing the nuts, note the number
and position of the adjusting shims so that correct wheel alignment is obtained when assembled.
