d. Using snap ring pliers, remove snap ring.
e. Remove balls, inner ring and cage from shaft as an assembly.

f.

Insert screwdriver between inner ring and cage to remove balls.

g. Turn cage approximately 30° and separate it from inner ring.

h. Wrap spline of shaft with tape, then remove boot.

Remove wheel side boot as follows:
a. Using suitable bar and hammer, drive off dust cover.
