Canister Purge Solenoid: Testing and Inspection
PURGE SOLENOID VALVE INSPECTION [L3 WITH TC]
Airflow Inspection
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the purge solenoid valve. See: Service and Repair
3. Inspect airflow between the ports under the following conditions.

If not as specified, replace the purge solenoid valve. See: Service and Repair

If as specified, carry out the "Circuit Open/Short Inspection".
Circuit Open/Short Inspection
1. Disconnect the PCM connector. See: Computers and Control Systems/Engine Control Module/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement
2. Inspect the following wiring harnesses for an open or short circuit (continuity check).
