Trailing Arm: Service and Repair

REAR TRAILING LINK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [2WD]

CAUTION:

-

Performing the following procedures without first removing the ABS wheel-speed sensor may possibly cause an open circuit in the harness if it is
pulled by mistake. Before performing the following procedures, remove the ABS wheel-speed sensor (axle side) and fix it to an appropriate place
where the sensor will not be pulled by mistake while servicing the vehicle.

1. Remove the middle pipe.  See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Exhaust System/Service and Repair  See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Exhaust

2. Remove the rear stabilizer.  See: Stabilizer Bar/Service and Repair/Rear Stabilizer Removal/Installation

3. Remove the rear coil spring.  See: Suspension Spring ( Coil / Leaf )/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Suspension

4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

6. Inspect the rear wheel alignment.  See: Alignment/Service and Repair/Rear Wheel Alignment
